The Map and the Territory / Karte und Gebiet (2012 – 2014)
This was my first collaboration with the Garage X- now WerkX – and director Ali M. Abdullah.
I made up different colours and grooves for the settings of this theater evening. Also we used some of the great chansons like “Le Jardin du Luxembourg” that are mentioned in “Karte und Gebiet”, with Alexander Simon as a fine singer of those french tunes. The viennese audience and press really liked the adaption for theater, and we played it for over two seasons at Garage X Theater in the first district of vienna.
